Are You Making This Common Mistake In Your Chord Playing?

Let me paint you two pictures...

Picture 1:

You learn some songs, strum and sing along, and it feels great. Every time you learn a new song, you learn the chords for that song, practise until it’s perfect, and then move onto another song.

Over time, you build up a large library of chords in your head, and if someone names a chord, you can probably play it.

Sounds pretty good, right?

But here’s the problem:

That knowledge is random, disconnected, scatterbrained…

You have no clear picture of how every chord fits together, what sounds good with what, and so on, because you learnt them randomly, and you learnt them by name, not by how they fit into a bigger musical picture.

You can’t see, hear, or understand how chords in different keys are related, and whenever someone needs to change the key, you rely on the same chord shapes and barre chords so you can just move up or down… but you don’t really know how to do it in your head.

It’s fractured knowledge.

So what about Picture 2?

Picture 2 is very different.

You learn chords systematically, key by key, learning how they relate to each other and how to mix and match them.

You learn to use them in standard ways, which you can apply to every song you want to play, which means you learn them faster and easier.

You learn fewer songs at the start, but pretty quickly you overtake the guitarist in Picture 1, because every song\ becomes part of the patterns you’ve been learning.

You can transpose to any key quickly , and you can use a variety of chord shapes, because you understand how the chords are parts of the whole.

You can improvise chord sequences and analyse any song you hear, making you more connected to the music you hear, more confident at playing and recreating it, and more creative every time you play chords… in any key!

I don’t know about you, but Picture 2 sounds way more appealing to me.

If it sounds the same to you, here’s the good news:

I’ve recently released a new ebook called…

The Creative Chord Bank

And, it reveals a simple and systematic path to confident chord playing in every key.

This is the exact framework I use to enable me to play any song in any key almost as soon as I hear it. I learn songs faster and understand them better, because of the structure I present in this book, and my students have got the exact same results.

But before you read any further, understand that this book isn’t long.

In fact, it’s 48 pages.

So if you’re the sort of person who judges by size alone, this ebook is NOT for you.

But if you’re looking for value rather than fluff, keep reading.

To help you decide if this is the right fit for you, here’s a look at what’s inside:

• A quick (but powerful) guide to the underlying structures of everything in the book and how to connect it to any style of music! Page 41

How chords, scales, and keys all fit together (hint: it’s simple, it’s easy, and it’s actually more interesting than it sounds…). Pages 12-13

• An easy way to map out any scale on the guitar (my high school music teacher girlfriend said it even helped her!). Page 11

How to play the most common sequences that connect almost every song you’ve ever heard or liked! Page 42

• Improvising chord sequences is easy with the information I give on pages 38-39!

• The only guide you’ll ever need to understanding how any chord works. Pages 46-48

• How major and minor keys (and chords) are related – and why you should care. Page 32

• The secret behind the three most important chords in any song… and how to use it to your advantage in your own playing! Pages 15-16

• 144 chord diagrams systematically presented for instant chord power! Pages 19-30, and 33-36

• The simple wheel that can unlock your entire guitar. Page 11

• …and more!

Anyway, I could go on.

But here’s the long and short of it.

The Creative Chord Bank is a 48-page ebook that you can get for $29 USD.

It’d cost you around $100 to have a single lesson with me (and this would definitely need more than one lesson), so in my opinion there isn’t the slightest question: it’s worth it.

Which is why…

There are NO refunds, and all sales are final.

I’m not interested in helping people looking for some lost ‘secret’ and aren’t willing to put in the effort to make this material theirs.
